to the Lattimore Family of England. This website presents the Lattimore
family that has its more recent roots in Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire
and Buckinghamshire followed by Hertfordshire in Modern times. We
are also interested in the Lattimore family in general and any possible
connections. We are always very willing to share information in the
quest for our ancestors.

News - New distribution map in the maps section
 An interesting look at the Lattimore distribution map for 1891 census. It shows that the Lattimore name is mainly spread down the east side and centre of the country.

The Name LATTIMORE is an aberration
of LATIMER and has also appeared as LATTEMORE, LATTIMER, and LATIMORE.
It is important to note that all of these forms are relevant to
our research and that to trace the modern version LATTIMORE back
beyond the 18th Century the use of LATIMER has to be accepted.
LATTIMORE is a modern form created by miss spelling or interpretation
